Glass Fusing
Glass fusing is done by cutting specialy coated glass (dichroic) and combining with other glasses or by itself then fused in a kiln to produce pieces that can be made into jewelry
The glass is first cut into shapes using a standard glass cutter.
The glass pieces are layed out and layers added for effect. This piece is ready for the Kiln.
The glass is then placed in the kiln and heated to 1600 deg F.
When the piece comes out of the kiln all the pieces have fused into one.

Drilling a hole to mount the wire on this cross. This has to be drilled with a special bit and under water as shown.
